Company Name: Resona Holdings, Inc.
(Code No.: 8308, 1st Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange)

Some media reported that Resona Holdings, Inc. is now giving consideration to acquiring the shares of regional financial institutions in the Kansai region (including　possibility of Take Over Bid) so as to integrate their businesses. Resona Holdings has not officially announced anything to this effect.

Resona group is considering various options for further growth, but at this point in time, it has not decided anything yet.
