It has been confirmed that suspicious documents, such as those using the names of Resona Holdings’ officers and employees and proposing a distribution of deceased estates, have been sent to a certain number of individuals outside Japan.

However, those documents are not sent by our officers or employees and are not related to Resona Holdings or its group companies at all.

Officers and employees of Resona Holdings and its group companies will never propose a distribution of deceased estates.

Accordingly, such documents are highly likely to relate to the international frauds aiming to defraud money in the name of estate succession, etc. Please pay extra attention to such documents.
